Was looking up the calendar for the coming months,
wanted to know when is Deepavali.
It has been changed to 17 Oct,
a Saturday!
By right, 17 Oct is gazetted as a public holiday.
So... by left, there won't be an extra holiday on 19 Oct Monday?
Even though it falls during weekend..
Boohoo..
But there'll still be a school holiday on Monday ...

And I found out something interesting...
for the year 2010..
Guess which date does CNY Day 1 fall on?

Valentine's Day...

It'll be the first time that we'll see most of the shops closed on V-day. Lolz
Retailers would have to scratch their heads,
thinking of ways to continue to capitalise on this commercialised occasion.

So when do you think people will celebrate V-day?
Most likely not 14 Feb,
and not 13 Feb (CNY Eve).
Then it'll be 12 Feb (Fri) then?
