my neighbour colleague is quite nice afterall
at least in the midst of the afternoon,
she asked if I wanted a drink
as she intended to pop by the bubble tea shop downstairs

at least what she said to me just when I was about to leave office today
had put a good end to this work week
and had reduced some apprehension
to be stationed at another sub-department next week

i see the friendly side of her
and it feels good =D

I realised I have been repeating the sequence of things that I do everyday
ever since the internship started.
Waking up in the early morning,
getting ready to work.
Taking the train to Pasir Ris and u-turn back to Tanjong Pagar.
The morning starts at 8.30am.
.
.
Lunch time
.
.
Knock off time
.
.
Reach home, bathe, watch the 7pm show.
Have dinner,
Continue to watch tv.
Sometimes will surf the net before the 9pm show.
.
.
Bedtime...

5 days of such routine...
Today, I just asked 2 colleagues what they usually do when they get home.
One replied, "Rest lor."
The other said, "There's nothing much you can do."

Hmmmmm...

Weekends are still the best in this case. =)

Anyway, I feel that I haven't been in a very good/happy mood since last week,
that I realised.
Amazing how the little things can make one feel upset.

The thought of my slippers gotten stolen.
The thought of my favourite office skirt changing away from its original colour due to colour dropping from another clothe while being machine-washed.
The thought of wondering what to do with my mrt pass when I'm going to another department at Bedok for 2 weeks starting from next.
The thought of....

Well.. some happy things...
I tried the Beard Papa eclair puff on Tuesday.
Didn't know it was soooo oiishii neh!
Chocoloate coating with cocoa custard filling. Yummie!

Was sitting on the train this morning.
I looked opposite me and saw this married couple.
They seem so happy and blissful...
to take the train to work each morning
to have their little chit-chat session during the journey
to give each other a goodbye kiss when the wife alights at her stop
So if you are thinking, "Ah.. they must be newlyweds or a young married couple."
Sorry, you are wrong.
From my guess, they seem to be slightly above middle-age,
and yeah... married for quite some time already.
Yet.. it can be heartwarming at times to witness such a scene,
simple but contented =)

Hi there!

Have a good weekend?
I had quite a fruitful one.
Met up with JuST!n@ & my "jie mei" from JC on Friday night
Went to Cineleisure's E2Max to play Nintendo Wii!
Quite sua-ku.. to have only known now of the existence of
this entertainment place at Cineleisure
that allows ppl to play PC games, Xbox, PS3 and Wii..
and even book a chamber room to watch DVDs.
My first time playing Wii lolz
Quite fascinating and fun
I like Tennis and Boxing hoho..
but I'm terrible at Golf.. *_*
Thanks JuST!n@ for introducing this!

Checked out the new Southern Ridges, on Saturday,
a 9km-trail that connects 4 parks:
Mount Faber Park, Telok Blangah Park,
Kent Ridge Park & West Coast Park.
We only explored that part of Telok Blangah Park
which starts from Henderson Wave.
Ended at the HortPark near dusk.
And we took approximately 3 hours?
I like our ending destination the most, Hort Park -
the Gardening Hub
(Southeast Asia’s first one-stop centre for gardening-related recreational, educational, research and retail activities in a park setting)

*check out my facebook for the pics =p

Ended off the Saturday night at my house catching the Euro 2008 Opening Match
Switzerland vs Czech Republic.
Was still feeling quite irritated that England couldn't even qualify this time round!
Though not an avid soccer fan,
I would catch such big-scale soccer event once in a while,
hah.. for the fun of it...
but too bad, my house didn't subscribe for the Euro channel.

*****
Was surfing through Facebook just now.
Have come to realise or already realised that
most of the Grad Trips were at Taiwan...
Have known at least 4 frenz who went there for this purpose.
Makes me wanna go too!
Kinda feeling envious that people are travelling with friends on holiday.
Actually, Taiwan is one destination for my own Grad Trip next year,
though I don't mind Hong Kong.. hehe.
Really looking forward to it!
One more year to go..
Ganbatte~
