Sing-song End to the semesterLoy Kratong...
Home on the Range...
Bengawan Solo...
These are some of the questions to today's class quiz:
To identify the countries/cultures of which the songs originated from,
He said at first that the quiz would be a long one.
I thought, "Oh no! What questions are going to be given? I won't be able to remember the details of all the things I've learnt so far..."
Hah.. but oh well,
it was typically of the Prof to come up with those "Either-you-know-it-or-you-don't" kinda questions.
After the quiz.. he sort of went thru the answers...
singing out the songs as he proceeded,
he even 'danced' while he sang "Loy Kratong" hahaa..
What a cool prof I had..
though he's already way past middle age le (oopzz)
The most 'intriguing' part was towards the end when 'Auld Lang Syne" came..
he insisted that we stood up, held hands and sang along with him..
You could really see how everyone sorta reluctantly stood up and abided by his instructions lolzz
Anyway, din regret taking up this module that had cost me 1000+ points (which I emphasized once again haha).
Unique way of a seminar
Without any single lecture notes, only articles and miscellaneous notes.
Unconventional quizzes.
15-20 pages, single-spaced individual report.
A Prof who likes to tell stories,
and shows a lot of videos.
A Prof who told us in the last lesson that he was actually very nervous during the first lesson.
A Prof who sang and 'danced' on the last lesson.
Nice way to end the last class for this semester. =D

I've been addicted to magazines recently,
no.. i've always been a fan of magazines.
It started off with LIME which I would never fail to own one every month,
but that was history.
Then came SHAPE,
a magazine about health, beauty and social well-being,
specially catered to the females.
Was kinda annoyed when I woke up the past Sunday
to find my SHAPE magazines missing!!
I discovered them in a plastic bag, at my doorstep.
So my mother had sold them to the karang guni..
luckily I could still retrieve some of them back
before the karang guni came to collect them.
Wasn't that annoyed afterall.
Just went to the library to borrow
one PSYCHOLOGY TODAY,
two SIMPLY HER, and
one READER'S DIGEST.
Magazines can really be my companion
during the long train journey to and from school,
especially when I'm travelling alone.
I love magazines!!
*
My next recent addiction: VIWAWA
Hoho.. a game site with good graphics
Had been playing Daidee,
then switched to Bridge since it launched not long ago. =D
*
My last, yet on-going addiction
pao pao cha.. bubble tea
Just have to have a dose of it at least once a week,
especially when I was at tuition.
Though many might not like it,
or have grown out of it,
I still find it 'attractive'.
Had been buying bubble tea from this family-owned store at Tampines Blk 500+
The store owners even recognise me le!! Hehe..
But sorry.. no discount lah haha

Actually I meant to post an entry - a COMPLAINT post...
but decided against it..
Don't wanna be a Complain Queen =D
