I feel that I'm falling in love now...
Falling in love with....
the beauty
Falling in love with...
the sweetness
Yesh...
I'm falling in love with...
her...
Jesseca Liu! =D
I'm still straight, okay?
It's just that I find her very very pretty and sweet-looking.
She looks even more attractive in person.
Saw the cast of
KinshipII yesterday at Causeway Point
and took some pictures
but such a pity that they were so small..
can't have an up-close photo.
I guess I like Jesseca's facial features and her style,
giving off a tinge of angelic aura and elegance.
Like a pretty doll.. =)
Hmm.. anyway, I went to JB with my uni friends yesterday.
Had a sumptuous seafood dinner!
Stingray, crabs, baby squids, cockles,
and what else huh?
Haha.. just know that the whole round table of 9 was so filled up. =)
Plus it was indeed super cheap!
That was my first trip to M'sia as well.
It appeared to resemble Thailand (Bangkok)
but I guess I very much preferred the latter.
Culture-wise, weather-wise (i mean during the cooler season),
shopping wise and especially food-wise!
Hope to return there again! =p

A Monday morning surprise?Seemed like a lot of people were affected by the MRT disruption practically the whole of this morning.
57 000 as reported.
Read a couple of blog entries lamenting on it.
I was one of those MRT-commuters today
but I guess the situation wasn't as bad at the time I set off to school.
It was around 10 plus as I approached Tampines MRT Station
to find the doors closed and crowds formed.
So I followed the direction towards the free bus shuttle to Tanah Merah.
And...
encountered a devil driver
who was speeding away on the road
and he was driving the long bus for your info...
Not only that, he suddenly brake on two occasions,
right at the traffic light junction
and yeah received quite a few ooh-aahs from his passengers.
He even 'scolded' us from his seat
and the uncle sitting behind me commented,
"Your driving is damn lousy."
For the first time,
I feared for my life while riding on a public bus........

I feel like blogging today though no particular topics in mind.
So I thought of sharing on my first class for the Culture & Mgt in Asia module yesterday.
This module cost me 1691 programme account points.
It's the first time that I got a management module for such a high bid point.
Kinda regretted before that.
The class is enrolled by so many year 4 students (almost all),
and the assessment criteria comprises of only individual assignments & presentation.
All these make me somehow jittery and intimidated.
However, after attending yesterday's inaugural class of the module,
I guess I shall take back my words of regret.
For once, the module incorporates both the Arts (culture) and the Business (management) aspects.
We'll be learning about culture and its variables,
the impact of culture on management in different countries
as well as cultural knowledge and sensitivity.
Kinda interesting.
In addition, the professor's style of teaching doesn't include lectures,
maybe just once in a while listening to him talk about the theory
but not a lengthy portion of the session being devoted to lectures.
At first sight, when I stepped into the class and saw this rather-old looking professor,
the words 'dull' and 'stern' came into my mind.
But looks can be deceiving.
He can crack jokes and he can be quite 'action' in a sense. Hah..
Thus, bringing in some informality into the class.
Well, albeit the rigorous individual assignments and all,
the most important has to be the learning experience during the class.
It makes me want to put in extra effort in doing his work,
and not having this mindset that "I think I'll do badly for this cos I'm all well alone!"
yeah.. I took this module myself as well haha
so kinda feeling lonely at times
but thank god I'd made a couple of friends in class who are exchange students,
from Norway, Finland and Spain.
Hehe...
Putting that aside, I'm enjoying the 'luxury' of ending my school week today! Lolz..
yeah.. my week ends on Wednesday (hopefully for the whole semester).
And I think by blogging at this moment,
I'm trying to procrastinate on starting to do some work that would be due next week.
Hoho...
Nah.. I shall get started somehow.. I promise =p
Till then, have a nice week ahead!

I seem to have a low tolerance for noise - unnecessary noise
I'm a person who tends to sleep in most of the time (so not a morning person here hah).
Weekends are times when one can just lie in bed,
until the sun has risen high up in the sky.
For the past few weekends,
the morning sun managed to greet the piggy-head me..
Imagine the karung-gunis calling out for deals,
babies & toddlers crying out loud, throwing their tantrums,
the rubbish truck's engine zoning away,
and my mum going in and out of my room...
I could hear them all.
I'm a light sleeper...
These noises were simply so disturbing to me.
A little of it also won't do.
Today, I just had to get out of my bed,
pull out my MP3 and plugged it into my ears,
with the music on...
At least that did a little bit of a trick.
At least the music was pleasant enough to get me back to sleep.
A disturbed sleep makes Xiaoli a moody gal.
Oh well,
Tomorrow's the first day of the new semester.
Time to work hard and do myself justice! =D
Was looking through the course outlines for the various modules I'm taking.
Hah.. presentation time!
Presentations everywhere...
Just wish for a smooth-sailing semester.
Even if there's a lot of work,
hope all goes well without much conflicts or disagreements.
Hope I can handle work and play well.
And of course... and most importantly,
my mood!
Lolz...
