I like reading others' blog.

Though I'm a blogger myself,
the real joy comes from reading others' blogs,
keeping myself updated with their lives,
their emotions,
their thoughts.

Sometimes,
I've got to admit that I truly envy some of them.
The various talents they possess.
The loving family they have.
The wonderful friends and loved ones around them.
The content in their blog entries seem to convey numerous 'success' stories,
not in terms of career paths,
not in terms of financial status,
but in terms of their social lives.

It's really pleasing to know of such beautiful stories.
Though they might just be some facets of daily happenings,
I guess that's where the genuine experience comes from.

Then I wondered about myself...
Do I have my own 'success' stories too?
I think I do...
and I think everyone does.
The difference lies in what and who...
but most importantly, in HOW one perceives each of their own stories.

It's nice to end an extremely busy relaxing a little
before continuing with what we have to do.
That's what I did yesterday.

I just had a long sleep on Friday night...
Then a TV marathon on Saturday afternoon,
caught up with the replay of the local drama series,
福满人间 is indeed an entertaining show lolzz...
was laughing through it.
Went for a movie at night,
sneak preview of HERO !

Initially I thought it would be another 'detective' story,
and I also don't usually watch a Jap film in the cinemas.
Nonetheless, after watching, it changed my impression of it.
Rather interesting a plot.
And it's especially touching to watch how the female lead persevere on with the male lead all through the investigation and trial,
And particularly how his team of colleagues really got together to help him with the case.
Though I was a little bit confused with the minor characters at the beginning haha
Got a couple of the actors mixed up! Lolz... couldn't register their Jap names into my head as yet.. =D
OH yeah... Takuya Kimura is indeed quite attractive, especially when he's at work...
No wonder some say guys look more charming when they are seriously doing their work. =)
Hah... the HERO Tv episodes shall be my past time for this coming holiday! hoho

Btw.. I'd tried the new McFlurry ice cream flavour - Mudpie..
hah.. it tastes like the original Oreo flavour.. just that they added some fudge I guess.
Had wanted to try the Berries McFlurry
but..... 无缘 *shakes head*
Nvm..there's still a chance! =p

Okay.. till then,
Ciao~~

11 more days to freedom!

Arrrr......
I spent almost the whole of the afternoon today
meddling with Anvil Studio,
the software used to create MIDI music...
Finally managed to finish a decent piece
though I don't really think it's that nice, hah
especially the 'chorus'...
Well... so be it...
Had spent quite some time on it le...
And I'm planning to S/U it... (got a feeling that I'm already at the bottom of the bell curve for this Science of Music module.. after that mid-term test.. )
Hmm.. at least I won't have this piece of 'work burden' hovering in my mind,
just need to modify a little and submit! *Yay*

It's 2-day school for me this week;
cos I skipped the SOM lecture this morning
since that's the only class I have today....
Naughty me huh? =D
But tomorrow shall be quite a long day I assume...
3 meetings in a day...
seems like school this semester is all about project meetings...

Well.. quite enjoyed the four days without school
But that doesn't equate to me being slack hor..
I diligently did my part of the work and managed them during the weekends,
though I was watching tv for half of the afternoon on Saturday,
and went out for birthday dinner on Sunday,
and didn't do much work on Monday afternoon...
hah.. sometimes I wonder if I really did all that I needed to do.
I checked my to-do list..
tick, tick, tick...
Yuppie... =)

Speaking of Sunday's dinner,
we went Din Tai Fung
followed by desserts @ Azabu restaurant at Marina Square..
you know.. those nice looking Jap desserts that are displayed at the storefront?
And always will entice by-passers?
Yeah.. finally got the chance to step into it..
and the ice cream was not that bad...
It would have been a pretty good experience
if not for the waiter & waitress who chased us out
as they were closing for the day..
Poor service...

Anyway... last but not least, for my entry today,
Changi Airport Terminal 3 is opening for public viewing from 12 Nov to 9 Dec!!
I'll be there !
I just like the ambience in airports...
so I won't miss this tour,
whereby it allows the public to enter the (restricted) transit area as well,
at a small price though =)

Yupz.. till then,
Ciao!~
