Mid-Autumn Festival at Chinese Garden
THE MAGICAL OCEAN

25 September 2007

First time heading to Chinese Garden on the actual mid-autumn day itself.
And the second time viewing the light displays at Chinese Garden.
The last was a few years back during the JC days.

This year's theme is marine.
I wasn't too keen on the theme initially
but after yesterday's tour, I guess it was alright afterall.
Though it's the typical form of display every year,
the blown-up 'lantern' figurines,
the numerous lanterns dangling around...
I guess to me it's the experience that makes the difference,
especially after a few years in between whereby I didn't visit the place during the festival.
Quite fun exploring the area,
with the beautiful lightings and cute displays.
