Thursday 19 Jul 07

Went to my fave place, Changi Airport, on Sunday
Celebrated JieYing's bdae with Kalta on Monday
Been through a bad moody day on Tuesday
Went down to rag site on Wednesday

And today it's Thursday.

So far, the week had been a mixture of ups and downs
but somehow my view of it was... simply full of downs.
Dunno why... there's bound to be something that happened each day this week
that could spoil the whole day and change my mood.
Especially on Tuesday, I think I had sulked the whole day,
though I put on a smiling mask when I faced my fellow colleagues and hotel staff.
I restrained myself from voicing out the frustration in me,
for I didn't want to negatively influence another person's day.

Anyway, today it's Thursday.

Somehow, I managed to get busy in the morning.
Just dun understand why work always likes to flock together.
Ended up that I could only have my lunch at 1.30pm. *bleah*
And off I went for a training session at 2.45pm.
For a moment before lunch, I thought of skipping it all together,
because of the sudden tiredness,
and the slight nose irritation or slight flu that I had since morning.

To make things worse,
as I reached Tampines Interchange and was just half a metre away from my bus queue,
someone approached me.
I didn't really want to entertain him but I managed to speak to him for a few short minutes.
It's those promoters again...
I seem to encounter at least one of these people every fortnight or so.
Anyway, count him unlucky to approach the 'me' today.
I was already quite tired.
But I let him talk and let him ask...
It's alright...

However, when he said out that sentence, I was like .... *_*
He said, "Woah, I was from NUS too."
I said, "Is it?"
He asked, "What faculty are you in?"
I replied, "Business."
He said again, "Woah, such a coincidence, I was from Business too."
Instantly in my mind, I was like going 'ya right..."
I replied, "Is it..."
I think he knew that I didn't really believe him.
So he commented that "Well, it's a big school..."
Lolz.. Business is considered a big school? I doubt any Bizader will think that lo.
I remained silent.
He continued, asking whether I got join O-week.. then told me that bizad is getting bigger,
with around 700 intakes this new sem...
I was thinking again, "Woah, this promoter really did his homework."
Shall give him the benefit of the doubt...
But no way I was going to believe that he's really from NUS Biz School.
Two months ago, another promoter was saying the same thing to me.

Hah.. promoters nowadays seem to like to use this tactic...
Once bitten twice shy...
I didn't give my particulars to that promoter today,
which I otherwise would on other days.
Can you imagine how unsincere some of these people look...
Even worse, they really can bluff their way through without a blink of the eyes...
Thinking of it just makes me feel soooo... annoyed...
Well, they have their job to complete. Justified.
But their suspicious 'speech' can really make one feel stupid...
Who knows our own faculty better than we do, right?
Diao........

Anyway today it's Thursday.
And I hope for a better next week.
At least get my good mood back.
It's enough to be snapped at...
I don't want to be the one snapping at others. =)
