A near-perfect day to go out onto the sands
On this cool, pretty-clear night.
The sands were soft here,
yet rough over there.
It gave the stroll a tinge of both sides.

Numerous tents were set up,
some obediently sitting beside one another.
Fishing, bbqing, lazing on the mats,
the campers sure did enjoy and relax.
It spurred me to want to have my own beach-camping night.

As I sat down on the sands,
and looked up above my head up high.
The sky welcomed me with its arms open wide.
The twinkling stars were especially bright,
spreading over part of the entire night sky.

I closed my eyes, and listened intently to the splashing of the tides.
With the soft breeze tingling on my skin,
the voice, the feeling and the enclosure,
it's like having the warmth amidst the cold.

A moment passed as I gazed up adoringly,
a short shooting star swifted across,
putting down a chronicle to my second night encounter with it.
Minutes later came down another,
this time, a magnificent one flashed right through the sky.

A wish could only be made a couple of seconds later.
While I tried to contain my excitement,
it's quite a pity that only my eyes caught this rare sight.
Nonetheless I believe fate has brought us here,
for me to meet 'My Shooting Star'.
