It was a wonderful evening spent yesterday with my Kalta OG. Really nice to be able to gather almost everyone for a small get-together cum mini celebration of Lay Peng's birthday.
I think the New York New York restaurant is quite a cosy place for friends and families to dine in although an especially large group of people cannot be catered to. Lolz. The maximum number for the largest table is around eight or nine, unless you don't mind squeezing and have your arms 'wrestling' with one another during the meal. Hee.
While waiting for the rest to reach, some of us who were already present decided to order some appetizer. Haha.. I can see that we were a little hungry then. =x So we ordered the Bravo Potato Wedges and Crunchy Mushrooms. Bravo wedges is in the sense that they added a kind of sauce over the wedges, a bit like tomato sauce. They tasted pretty good though but not exactly bravo lah. Oh... just recalled a small blurt-of-the-mouth I made while we were ordering. While responding to the question of which appetizer is nice, I explicitly blurted out that the calamari is not exactly fabulour... and one of the waiters was standing right at the table (though he was only there pouring iced water for us). Haha.. wonder if he had heard what I said.. oopsy.. silly me.. heehee
Anyway... the dinner segment was kinda fun, with the usual small chats, teasing among us, taking numerous photos and not forgetting the singing of the birthday song for the birthday gal with the small slice of birthday cake. =p Through all our OG's birthday celebrations so far, I realised that several trends had evolved, in terms of the cake and the present lolz!! zipz zipz...
We were then being entertained by a movie after the dinner. Hmm.... that's the movie which lasted erm.. one hour? Haha... and that's the movie which erm... 'intrigued' us with its erm... lameness? Lolz... but quite humourous in some sense... (give some credit to Jason who suggested this movie) Hee....
All in all.... hope the birthday gal have enjoyed the evening, though there's no surprise element this time... and... hope everybody have sought comfort and joy in the accompany of the OG as a whole. =) To me, it's great to see us happily laughing around with one another and having a relaxing time, momentarily separated from the mountain of work awaiting for us.
