Year 2007

My intuition for the new year was that
it would be a better year.
Now, this intuition starts to wane,
even before things draw near.

Less complicated matters
are all I have wished.
To reduce any misunderstanding, trouble and
worries, of which some can be missed.

I won't read too much into things
Cos I think they are quite unnecessary.
Should I have done or said anything that raises your doubt,
don't misinterpret and let me have a chance to clear the query.

We often tend to link the past onto others
but isn't it seem quite unfair?
The past can be seen as an experience or a lesson.
It shouldn't affect us too much in our future's share.

Allow the new year to bridge new relationships,
with family, friends and all.
Give yourself and others a chance,
to know one another even more.

It's the process that truly matters,
Whatever the outcome is.
Accept with an open mind and a gracious heart.
Whatever it's meant to be, it will be yours and not his.

Should you have some thoughts about something,
don't jump to a conclusion so hastily.
It might not be what you think it is.
Find out first. To do others a justice definitely.

Here, let me say out my two-word wish,
a wish which had been with me for long.
It's not easy to gauge its chance of being fulfilled.
However, it can be a lyric found in your life song.
