Phew! At last I've the time to pen down a blog entry.
Have been running here and there.
Monday - my SIM card had been pronounced dead; got to ask for a new one.
Tuesday - lost some sleep the night before; dragged myself with my closing eyes to pool session.
Wednesday - travelled on an one-hour journey to driving centre and another one-hour trip back to school for a talk
Thursday - a 9-6 day with 4 hours break in between
Friday - my advanced theory test was here at last

But I guess, that's only the minimal that I'd gone through. The killing month of March will definitely usher in a seemingly indeterminable string of assignment and project due dates. Come what may...

Nonetheless, I can still find a little time to appreciate the finer things in life, I think. ;)

Whenever we hear the phrase "finer things in life", it would automatically lead us to brainstorm of various stuff like wine, fine food, relaxation activities, just to name a few. However, just the other day, I stumbled upon another perspective to it. It was on the MRT where such thought came to me. MRT is kinda a good place to discover things. Lolz.

Let us take a moment to subtly recall...

- When was the last time you were able to enjoy a casual stroll somewhere with no particular destination to head to?
- When was the last time you spent quality time with the one you treasure; with your close friends; with your families?
- When was the last time you looked around you and noticed the beauty of nature? The fluffy clouds, the warm sunshine, the lively trees, the twinkling stars and the illuminating moon...
- When was the last time you had a good laugh with your friends, whereby you tease them and they tease you back?
- When was the last time someone lent a listening ear to you when you really needed it?

There are many delicate things in our daily lives which can bring about warmth and joy. Some of us often focus on the conspicuous result/end-product, something tangible which we can see. It gives us the sense of satisfaction when we are able to have it solidly in our hands.

On the other hand, do you then neglect the intrinsic value of an action, a word at times? What I feel is that the massive reward or the impressive things we have enjoyed could put a huge smile on our faces, but what we can gain from other's concern, those pleasurable times of get-togethers (even for a short while) as well as puting attention onto the indirect facade of life, do have their own finest.

You can have a bouquet of roses but a dozen small stalks of rose from different people can add up to a beautiful bunch too. =)

Purple makes my colour.
Lily makes my flower.
Mango makes my fruit.
And piggies make my days go bright.
